In Primary 2, through the Revised Curriculum, we aim to give the children experiences that will motivate and enthuse them to learn. The children are encouraged to become independent and involved in their own learning.

Children in Primary 2 are given the opportunity to learn through active, practical, challenging experiences, which provide for visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learners.

Most of the work is child driven and done through play-based activities. In play the children take an active part in the planning of our themes, eg. People who help us in our school and local community , The Gruffalo, Cold Countries, Hospital, and Pirates.

Literacy and Numeracy incorporates mostly practical activities which allows the children to develop their creativity and enhance their eagerness to learn.
